An anti-Trump lawyer who worked with special counsel Jack Smith on his lawfare cases against the president, and already has been indicted for mishandling legal papers, now also could face Bar Association discipline for her agenda.

It is the Daily Caller News Foundation that said the trouble is brewing for ex-U.S. Attorney Carmen Lineberger.

It was the Center to Advance Security in America that filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Board advising that it should “pursue discipline” against Lineberger’s law license.

She already was indicted, just weeks ago, for allegedly storing files from Smith’s Florida lawfare case against Trump on personal email accounts under fictitious names like “Chocolate_cake_recipe.pdf.”

CASA officials explained, “Lineberger should be investigated for her alleged efforts to steal documents she was not permitted to take in her civilian capacity. Nopt only was it a crime to do so, but the manner in which she took the documents was dishonest, deceitful, and misrepresented to her employer the nature of what she was taking.”

Her lawyer declined comment.

This particular lawfare action against Trump involved claims that he stored classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

Those were the papers that were the target of the infamous FBI SWAT raid on Trump’s home.

The case eventually was dropped.

“CASA’s complaint alleges Lineberger is also breaking Pennsylvania’s rules by continuing to claim her Department of Justice (DOJ) address in Florida, citing her public listing on the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board’s website. Her profile still says she is employed by the DOJ,” the foundation report said.

“Additionally, the manner in which Lineberger went about stealing records also demonstrates dishonesty, deceit and misrepresentation. Here, she renamed the files to suggest that the documents were cake recipes. This demonstrates that she knew that—at the very least— someone in authority would not permit her to possess the records she was converting to her private email,” the complaint charged.

WorldNetDaily reported when she was indicted for her part in Smith’s failed campaign against Trump.

She was named for two counts of theft of government property, destruction of those records, and concealment or mutilation of public records.

Lineberger, 62, allegedly stole a copy of part of Jack Smith’s report. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon earlier ordered that that report be concealed.

The federal government confirmed if convicted, Lineberger could be jailed for up to 20 years on one count, up to three years on another.
