It was just two weeks ago that President Donald Trump appeared on the debut episode of “The Sunday Briefing” on Fox News with Peter Doocy, but that September lovefest is apparently over.

The president is now blasting both Doocy and the network for refusing to push back against Democrat U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly’s claims about health care and the shutdown of the federal government.

Kelly had indicated: “When you consider millions of people possibly losing their health care or going bankrupt, when people lose their health care, they die. I mean that is the reality of the situation we’re in.”

As the interview was still being aired Sunday, Trump took to Truth Social to voice his objections.

“Why is FoxNews and Peter Doocy putting on Democrat Senator Mark Kelly to talk about, totally unabated or challenged, Healthcare?” Trump began.

“The FAKE SPIN is so bad for Republicans that it is hard to believe that we WIN. It will be very unfair, in the future, when they don’t have ‘TRUMP’ to fight for them. Therefore, we should fix it, NOW!”

“I’m watching this Interview. It just doesn’t end. Fox should either get on board, or get off board, NOW, but at this point, it just doesn’t make any difference to me. They suck up the Ratings because of us, and then spin them in the Democrats’ direction.

“They refuse to put up Polls that correctly show me at 65% in Popularity, a Republican RECORD, but if I have a fake bad ‘Poll,’ many of which are done by Fox (One of the worst ‘Pollsters’ out there is the FoxNews Poll), they put them up immediately, and with gusto.

“Republicans are so tired of this fight with Fox always trying to be so ‘politically correct!’ Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Kelly responded to Trump’s remarks, saying: “Mr. President, it’s not spin – it’s real life for millions of American families. If their health care premiums go up, they’re going to feel the pain and a lot of them won’t be able to afford it. Let’s sit down and fix this.”

This is not the first time Trump has slammed Fox News, as he went on the attack against the network in June, saying:

“The Crooked FoxNews Polls got the Election WRONG, I won by much more than they said I would, and have been biased against me for years. They are always wrong and negative.”

“This has gone on for years, but they never change the incompetent polling company that does their work. Now a new FoxNews poll comes out this morning giving me a little more than 50% at the Border, and yet the Border is miraculously perfect, NOBODY WAS ABLE TO COME IN LAST MONTH. 60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same month last year. I hate FAKE pollsters, one of the Worst, but Fox will never change their discredited pollster!”
