CNN discussion featuring Ameshia Cross, a former Obama campaign adviser, addressing Trump's comments about vandalism at a reflecting pool.

CNN commentator Scott Jennings went off on the “broken-brained” vandals who are destroying America’s national monuments, clashing with Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross on Trump’s DC renovations late last night.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, deranged leftists are illegally vandalizing the Reflecting Pool near the Lincoln Memorial after Trump’s project to repair and beautify the area.

Trump blasted the lunatics for doing “everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed” after some attempted to rip out the blue rubber sealant lining the bottom of the pool. He further slammed “lightweight” ABC reporter Jonathan Karl for his reporting on the pool meant to attack the “$14 million paint job.”

” Lightweight ABC Reporter, Jonathan Karl, was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface,” Trump said in a statement on Saturday. “The algae is 75% gone, and the condition will soon be completely remedied, and the area that was vandalized, fortunately, is just a small area of damage, and will be fixed early next week. It’s a shame that the Radical Left Lunatics, most likely Dumocats, who have spent their lives trying to ruin our Country, are free to do so. Law Enforcement is actively investigating this situation, and will hopefully have it resolved soon.”

"I haven’t heard that, but I mean, I wonder what you make of the President’s lengthy post tonight, also attacking a reporter for reporting on the condition of the Lincoln reflecting pool," CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins said of Trump's comment, asking Scott Jennings to respond.

Jennings went off on the crazed vandals. "Look, you have people that hate Donald Trump so much that they would go out and destroy our national monuments, vandalize the Lincoln Memorial, vandalize the grass," he said. "That’s how broken-brained they are."

"I hope they get caught, I hope they get put in jail," he added.

Jennings: Somebody did vandalize the grass, even when workers were working on the reflecting pool. I think I read that people came and vandalized their trucks and their equipment. Look, you have people that hate Donald Trump so much that they would go out and destroy our national monuments, vandalize the Lincoln Memorial, vandalize the grass. That’s how broken-brained they are.

Donald Trump has cleaned up Washington. The fountains work, the city is clean, the city is safe. It’s good that he has taken an interest in this. And you have these people out here who are so broken-brained about the fact that he’s the President that they’re spending their time vandalizing all this stuff. I think it’s terrible. And I hope anybody who vandalizes our monuments, I hope they get caught, I hope they get put in jail.

When Ameshia Cross was asked for her take, she ignored the vandalism and instead spewed garbage about "the $14 million plus price tag that is associated with this cleanup project," attacking Trump for anointing himself the "landscaper-in-chief."

It should be noted that the project was meant to fix and properly seal the pool with crack and leak-proof materials for the expansion joints, which will withstand the years and changing temperatures that come with the seasons. The pool was previously sinking and leaking millions of gallons of water per year into the swamp beneath

"Ameshia, can I ask you a question? Did you oppose President Obama spending $34 million on the Lincoln Memorial and the reflecting pool?" Jennings responded, sparking a heated debate.

Instead of defending Obama, she continued trashing Trump over the algae in the stagnant Reflecting Pool and his choice of contractor, claiming that Trump "flushed our money down the drain and continues to do so."

After the argument spiraled into how algae grows, with Cross acting like the algae is a brand new issue, Jennings hilariously fired back, "I learned something tonight, I didn’t realize that President Obama had cured algae when for 1.6 billion years, algae had been undefeated. So I’ve learned something this evening."
