Former Border Patrol Commander at Large under Trump, Gregory Bovino, confirmed on Monday that he is exploring a presidential bid in 2028, running on a platform of deporting over 100 million illegal aliens from the interior of the country.

Bovino resigned as Border Patrol Chief in March after he was pulled out of Minneapolis, following the fatal officer-involved shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. The Trump Administration further withdrew hundreds of agents from Minneapolis and dampened immigration operations amid public outcry and violent riots from a small minority of the country.

He has been a vocal critic of the Trump Administration’s immigration enforcement tactics, led by new DHS Chief Markwayne Mullin, Border Czar Tom Homan, and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, who he argues have caved to the radical left.

Bovino has said that at least 100 million illegal aliens currently reside in the United States and that the “worst of the worst” tactic being pushed by top immigration officials is grossly inadequate for the current immigration crisis America faces.

Bovino has explicitly called out Trump’s new DHS Chief, Markwayne Mullin, Border Czar Tom Homan, and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, who he argues are “holding back” and caving to left-wing radicals. Mullin recently responded to Bovino’s criticisms, saying he’s “never met the guy” and describing him as “irrelevant.”

Now, Bovino is seriously exploring a 2028 run, even launching a Bovino2028.com campaign webpage for his potential candidacy. “BOVINO KNOWS WHAT AMERICA NEEDS – AMERICA’S MEN,” the page reads underneath a campaign poster, showing Bovino clad in his double-breasted Border Patrol trench coat. The poster reads, “House Bovino – Men Fight Back.”

News Nation reported on Monday that it had confirmed Bovino launched an exploratory committee, with Bovino telling the outlet, he is in the exploration stages “at the time” but will formally announce a campaign “if it all comes together.”

Under the headline “A Bold National Strategy,” Bovino’s webpage reads, “Following The Commander’s maximum effectiveness in quelling the foreign hordes that have subsumed our nation’s cities, both large and small, the American people witnessed what true leadership, powered by a warrior mindset, actually looks like as The Commander endeavored to restore order and national sovereignty.”

”America as a whole has already fallen to the grasps of the foreign global one-world hellscape ushered in by Barack Hussein Obama, however we believe that The Commander can not only usher in the great restoration of America, but also cement the continuity of a strong and sovereign United States that will last a millennia,” the page continues.

It further outlines Bovino’s “core integrities,” including grassroots integrity, uncompromising truth, radical innovation, and unshakable unity.

“Gregory Bovino is not just a candidate; he is a movement. Born from the heart of American grassroots energy, Bovino represents a new era of leadership defined by transparency, integrity, and a relentless commitment to the common good,” the website further reads. “As we stand on the precipice of a new chapter, Bovino is ready to lead. He is the voice of the millions who feel unheard, the advocate for change, and the guardian of our shared values. Together, we are drafting a future where every American has a seat at the table and every dream has a chance to be realized.”

Bovino responded to News Nation’s report on his exploratory committee, confirming that “all options are on the table” and sharing the link to his campaign webpage.

“My one and only priority is deporting the 106 million illegals who are here. That’s it,” he said, noting that “90% of the country wants mass deportations and the media just isn’t asking the right questions.”

“If running for President is what it takes to actually get it done, then all options are on the table,” he added.

Full statement below:

NewsNation is reporting I’m exploring a run for President in 2028.

Here’s the truth: My one and only priority is deporting the 106 million illegals who are here. That’s it.

The grassroots support I’m seeing tells me the polls are completely wrong…

If I’m getting this much energy, it’s probably because 90% of the country wants mass deportations and the media just isn’t asking the right questions.

My commitment is simple, liberate America from this invasion and restore our quality of life.

If running for President is what it takes to actually get it done, then all options are on the table.

House Bovino.

Men fight back.
