Hunter Biden is now claiming he has “no idea” how he’s supposed to pay off an eye-watering $15 million in debt.

The same Hunter Biden who spent years globe-trotting, partying with prostitutes, indulging in drugs, and raking in massive sums from foreign entities because of his last name now wants the American public to feel sorry for him.

Cry us a river.

Earlier this year, in a letter sent to Ziegler’s lawyer, Hunter’s attorney acknowledged that his client “lacks the resources to continue this litigation at this time.”

The letter added that his financial woes “have been exacerbated after the fires in the Pacific Palisades in early January upended Plaintiff’s life by rendering his rental house unlivable for an extended period of time.”

According to court filings, Hunter insists he is financially destitute and drowning in debt, despite his long history of lavish spending and lucrative business arrangements tied directly to his father, the “Big Guy,” Joe Biden.

This is the man who:

  • Pulled in millions from Ukrainian energy firm Burisma
  • Cashed checks from Chinese-linked business ventures
  • Spent recklessly on luxury hotels, escorts, drugs, and high-end lifestyles
  • Bragged in texts and emails about leveraging “the big guy” for business
  • During an interview on The Shawn Ryan Show, the embattled former first son painted a bleak picture of his personal finances and his crumbling income streams.

Hunter attributed his massive debt to ongoing civil and criminal litigation, including suits against those who publicized his infamous laptop, according to his March 2025 court filing.

His art sales, once lucrative at nearly $1.5 million post-2020 election, have dwindled to just $36,000 since December 2023. Memoir sales have similarly tanked, from 3,200 copies in mid-2023 to 1,100 in the following period. He insisted, “Nobody’s riding to the rescue for Hunter Biden,” and dismissed conspiracy theories about hidden family fortunes.

“Litigation sucks. Look, I’ve been tied up in criminal and civil courts. I’ve got—I don’t know—$14 or $15 million in debt that I have no idea how I’m going to pay off. I have millions of dollars in debt. Nobody’s riding to the rescue for Hunter Biden.

My dad entered the presidency as the poorest man to ever take the office, and he left the presidency not the poorest, which—he’s fine—but we have no generational wealth. Despite what these guys say, there’s no billions of dollars buried underneath my dad’s house in Delaware.”
