Active shooter fears at Fairlane Town Center with mall & medical center on lockdown after reports of 3 hit by gunfire
THREE people have reportedly been injured after shots rang out at a town center ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.
Police in Michigan rushed to the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit, at around 2pm on Friday.

Dearborn Police said its officers were at scene investigating the shooting, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation. We are asking residents and visitors to avoid the area while officers secure the scene and investigators conduct their work,” Dearborn Police said.
At least three people were injured in the shooting, according to CBS News.
A shopping mall and Henry Ford Medical Center – Fairlane are in the vicinity of the town center.
The medical center was reportedly placed on lockdown as police investigate the shooting.
