TAYLOR Swift hid behind a 7ft “bulletproof” screen on her way to see her fiancé play American football at the weekend.
Fans have been used to seeing the singer strolling into the Kansas City Chiefs’ stadium for games.
But on Sunday officials ushered in Taylor, 35, and her mum Andrea, 67, behind the 7ft-high portable partition.
There was speculation online the screen was bulletproof and Taylor had tightened up her security following the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk last week.
He mocked Swift after her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce — who played for the Chiefs in Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
One fan commented on Tay’s arrival at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City: “It’s a bulletproof moving wall.
“Swifties have been dragging that man ever since he got shot because of the stuff he’s said about Taylor . . . her team is probably worried.”
Another wrote on X: “Taylor walking behind a bulletproof movable wall after what happened to Charlie Kirk can’t be a coincidence.”
After Taylor and Travis, 35, got together in 2023, Kirk tweeted: “What will break Kelce’s heart first? The Covid shot or Taylor Swift?”
And last month, he said: “Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You’re not in charge.”
Travis tears at proposal
TAYLOR Swift’s fiancé Travis Kelce revealed he broke down in tears when he asked her to marry him.
The 35-year-old American football star said: “The palms were definitely sweating. I’m an emotional guy. There were a few tears here and there.”
“It’s been an exciting ride and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player — dating Taylor, 35, for two years — proposed over a glass of wine in his garden.
Their Instagram post joked: “Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married.”
