ICE's Revived Victims Office Fields 900 Calls in 12 Months

The federal office President Donald Trump revived last year to assist Americans victimized by illegal immigrants fielded close to 900 calls in its first 12 months of operation, with assault, rape and homicide accounting for most of the crimes callers reported, according to data published by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ICE says the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office, known as VOICE, received the calls between January 2025 and January 2026, with 62% of reported crimes involving assault, sexual assault or homicide or manslaughter.
Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella, who took over the agency on June 1, said the volume showed the office was reaching the families it was designed to serve.
A breakdown obtained by Breitbart News, which first reported the latest figures, showed roughly 600 of the calls came from American crime victims and 185 from family members, with the remainder coming from friends, advocates and members of nongovernmental organizations.
About a quarter of callers sought victim services; most wanted updates on a specific case.
“These reports show DHS is backing up that commitment with action, giving victims and their families a direct line to information, support, and accountability when it comes to criminal aliens in our custody,” Venturella said in a statement quoted by Breitbart. He said the office’s mission was to ensure victims “will be heard, they will be informed, and they will not be left in the dark.”
