Deal-breaker: Iran ties deal to taming 'rabid dog' Israel

A senior Iranian parliament member sends an apparent message to the United States after Israel carried out a strike targeting a Hezbollah command center in Beirut.
“If you seek an agreement or understanding, you must discipline the Zionist regime. If this rabid dog is not controlled, it will bite your leg before the ink is dry on the agreement,” Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for parliament’s foreign policy and national security committee, writes on X.
The Israel Defense Forces carried out the strike after three Hezbollah drones hit northern Israel today.
Tehran has said that any Israeli attack on Beirut would be a violation of the ceasefire with the US and elicit a response from Iran.
