The State Department announced Friday that it will revoke the visa of Colombian President Gustavo Petro after he called on US troops to “disobey” President Trump during a New York City protest with controversial Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters.

“Earlier today, Colombian president [Gustavo Petro] stood on a NYC street and urged US soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence,” the State Department posted on X.

“We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions.”

Petro, who was in town for the United Nations General Assembly, got on a bullhorn outside the UN’s headquarters and called for “soldiers of the army of the United States not to point their guns at people.”
