NASCAR’s Anduril 250, on Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado, Calif., is coming up. In anticipation of that event, I sat down with the former Air Force physicist Rob Slaughter of Defense Unicorns during their Warhacker “hackathon.” We discussed the future of warfare, and what AI and rapidly deployed software can do to assist and protect the American warfighter.
Background: Defense Unicorns is sponsoring Team 71, Michael McDowell, and I’ll be in the pits with them on Sunday, race day. Rob and I had chatted before, but I did not provide my questions beforehand.
The stronger and more united NATO remains, the less incentive Beijing will have to test American resolve elsewhere.
