For one Portland “mom,” she learned the hard way that disagreeing with law enforcement’s efforts to enforce federal immigration law does not give you the right to interfere with ICE operations.

According to The Post Millennial:

The agitator, who had been recklessly driving through the neighborhood to impede ICE operations, was stopped by ICE officials on Thursday afternoon after blowing a red light and nearly colliding with a school bus while trailing federal vehicles, which she attempted to box in multiple times with her Mustang. The Post Millennial captured the incident during an exclusive ride-along with the ICE Seattle Field Office's Portland branch.

What exactly did she think was going to happen? Did she really believe that this tantrum would somehow prove her flimsy point—that foreign nationals ought to be allowed to stay in this country? And please don’t tell me this is what she calls “compassion,” because it’s anything but.

She didn’t even care to find out what the suspects were being arrested for. Instead, she chose to drive recklessly and put the safety of others at risk—simply because she disagrees with these people politically. And while we all know she is, in fact, a mom, I doubt this is the lesson she intends to teach her kids. Or is it?

ICE Deputy Field Officer Director Julio Hernandez, speaking to The Post Millennial, confirmed the referral to HSI for potential criminal prosecution. “She placed our officers in danger. She blocked in our vehicles several times. We gave her multiple warnings to leave the area. This time, enough was enough,” Hernandez stated firmly, emphasizing reckless behavior that included agitators posted up throughout the gang-ridden neighborhood acting as “spotters,” who used vehicles, whistles, and horns to alert illegal immigrants to ICE activity.

And I really hope she’s not the one teaching her kids how to drive. But the worst part of all this? It wasn’t even her first incident of the day.

The activist, who earlier in the day was filmed flipping off ICE agents, blaring her car horn, and mocking DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, pleaded for leniency during the stop, claiming she was “just a mom” after her vehicle was surrounded by federal agents. She was threatened with arrest but was ultimately let go after Hernandez made it clear to the driver that he would refer the case for prosecution.

I am not going to tell you whether or not this woman should be prosecuted, but I will tell you that if the tables were turned, and a leftist were in office and a Trump voter pulled a stunt like this, the prosecutors would be anything but lenient.

While she might chalk this up to a temporary lapse in judgment, her actions make it clear that she truly believes foreigners have a right to be in this country—and that this supposed right somehow supersedes the safety of Americans, as demonstrated by her reckless driving. To call that deranged would be an understatement.

That being said, drive safely, folks—because you never know when you might end up sharing the road with a leftist “mom” on a mission to make sure that “no human is illegal.”
