We The Content demand a mayoral race between The Zohran and our second greatest living president, Dave Portnoy. El Pres merely mentioning he's exploring the idea automatically makes him the frontrunner. Which, sure, is a sign of how pathetic and sad the NYC GOP is because lord knows they won't recruit anyone. But for an independent like Portnoy who famously hates it -- HATES IT -- when you make him talk about politics, to feel compelled to be called to service, it's almost as patriotic as a bald eagle stealing an apple pie.

Portnoy, while admitting how difficult it would be to win in New York City, says unlike Mamdani and the people around Mamdani, he's held an actual job before, not to mention created jobs. He IS the American Dream.

And I know what you're thinking, "C'mon now, Brodigan. He's shilling for a book. Be serious."

Sure, I guess. But he's all we've got right now. Have you seen the NYC GOP? No, seriously. Have you seen them anywhere? Name someone other than Vickie Paladino, who all of us here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website adore. We also wouldn't mind going for a burger at Donovan's.

Truth be told, he would be a great candidate. As I said, it's not like NYC has an opposition party other than Democrats who admit they're commies running against Democrats who pretend they're not.

The heads of the five families (the NYC GOP county chairs) do nothing to build a bench or recruit a candidate to run on the GOP side. Then, when Curtis Sliwa is the only one willing to run, they demand that he drop out to make things easier for...Andrew Cuomo.

Yes, the same Andrew Cuomo who was governor during COVID. Republicans, conservatives, and MAGA Americans were demanding that Sliwa drop out so that someone only marginally better than The Zohran could defeat The Zohran. And that's what passes for a NYC GOP.

Portnoy has the perfect story. He's a successful businessman who pulled himself up by the bootstraps and created one of the largest media companies on the internets. He was forced out of the state due to NY's insane taxes and migrated to Florida with so many other successful New Yorkers. Civic duty and patriotism are calling him back to fix the city he loves, outside of its sports teams (though lately he shares our hatred of the Red Sox).

As opposed to The Zohran and his acolytes, who view the city as nothing but a vessel to destroy Western Civilization and who say America deserved 9/11.

Will Portnoy run? Hey, stranger things have happened. Like The Zohran being allowed to have the second-most important job in America, behind the president. Dave Portnoy running for mayor could be the thing that finally brings most Americans together. He needs to do it for America.

Or at least do it for the content. These clicks don't bait themselves.
