Before Donald Trump became president and Henry Kissinger shaped U.S. foreign policy, actress Candice Bergen crossed paths with both men on a more personal level.

During an episode of Ted Danson's "Where Everybody Knows Your Name" podcast, the 80-year-old actress opened up about her past dates with influential figures at different moments in her life.

"One date, very short date," Bergen described her meetup with Trump, who allegedly showed up in a maroon limousine, wearing a matching suit, vest and patent leather boots.

"Without any editorializing, I've heard you say, 'I was home by nine,'" Danson said.

"Yeah, it was short," Bergen said with a smirk.

This isn't the first time Bergen has been candid about her time with Trump.

In 2018, Bergen spoke about the date with Stephen Colbert, explaining that she was a student at the University of Pennsylvania at the time.

"I was about 18," she said. "Trump and I are about the same age. Or as he would point out, I'm about six months older."

"I mean, he was. And I was in college, and it’s where he was going to be going to college … It was like a blind date. He called me in the dorm. I was bored," she explained.

Of his date with Bergen, Trump previously told the Boston Globe, "She was so beautiful. She was dating guys from Paris, France, who were 35 years old, the whole thing. I did make the move. And I must say she had the good sense to say, ‘Absolutely not.'"

After her college days, Bergen also spent time with Kissinger — whom she met through her parents.

"I think he picked me up to go to Bob Evans' house for dinner, and he was lovely," Bergen told Danson. "Henry was great company, and he was smart, beyond smart, and had great manners. He was lovely company."
