Gun rampage in casino with one dead and 'bullet holes in the slot machines'
At least one person has been killed and six injured in a shooting at a casino in Texas. Pictures have emerged showing bullet holes in windows and slot machines.
A heavy police presence has been confirmed at Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass, Texas. Locals have been urged to avoid the area while authorities carry out an investigation.
The shooting is understood to have broken out at 12:53am last night at the casino, although it is currently unclear why. Initial reports suggested there was one fatality and six casualties, according to Maverick County Sheriff. Terrifying footage has emerged from inside the casino just after shooting broke out. The camera pans round showing people's frightened expressions.

Another clip shows a fleet of police cars surrounding the building in frantic scenes.
The casino, which is run by the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas, was quickly evacuated as law enforcement rushed inside.
People have taken to social media to share what they say are eye witness accounts. One reads: "Just talked to my mother she said there was a few victims possible 4 hit /deceased . She made it out."

Another wrote: “If your coming to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino dont come!!! There has been a shooting right now."
It comes after a renowned Las Vegas casino was hastily evacuated amid concerns of an "active shooter" on the loose, with reports suggesting two fatalities earlier this year.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) swiftly descended upon the Belaggio hotel on the city's strip, urging the public to steer clear of the area. The incident occurred post 11pm (local time), a time when the vicinity is typically teeming with tourists.
In a statement released this morning, a spokesperson for the service announced: "We are currently investigating a homicide in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. The media staging location will be at Harmon Avenue and South Las Vegas Boulevard."
An eyewitness at the scene in Las Vegas reported being informed that "something major" had transpired after questioning security, according to the Mirror.
They posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: "They're closing down the Las Vegas strip... a security guard down here told me 'something major' happened but they haven't told us what."
