Florida Sheriff to Would-Be Rioters: “We Will Kill You”
The phrase “let me be very clear” has become a staple for politicians on the left who want to sound determined and steadfast while they push through insane policies. When you hear it it’s hard not to plug your ears. But once in a while someone uses it properly in a way that makes you want to listen.
Wayne Ivey is one of them. The burly crew-cutted cop is the sheriff of Florida’s Brevard County, and he’s not going to be having any nonsense–more on this below.
What kind of nonsense? The kind of disorder that angry leftists are determined to gin up on Saturday, June 15, with their “No Kings” demonstrations. Yes, it’s about President Donald Trump, who will launch a military parade that day to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s armed forces.
The left has decided that everything Trump does in office is a monarchical abuse of power, so they’re joining hands up and down thoroughfares to slow and annoy motorists. Vermont’s hard-left publication Vermont Digger put out a story making the No Kings protest sound like a day of wholesome family fun that will delight onlookers.
Maybe participants will try to stop motorists from proceeding, as this guy by refusing to get out of the way of an SUV driven by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. His comrades, of course, characterized this as an act of violence by the driver.
Brevard County’s Wayne Ivey doesn’t care, and he’s not mincing words. In a press conference he listed the consequences that troublemakers can expect. “If you block an intersection or a roadway in Brevard County you are going to jail.”
But then he got really spicy.
“If you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County – gather around it, refusing to let the driver leave? In our county, you’re most likely gonna get RUN OVER, and dragged across the street,” Ivey said.
This is the kind of no-baloney law and order talk millions of Americans have been waiting to hear. A sampling of reactions:
This is how you get this crap to stop. It may sound harsh, but this approach saves lives.

Love what I’m hearing, coming out of Florida! Honestly thinking about moving my family out of California…..

This is what real law and order sounds like. Sheriff Ivey isn’t playing politics, he’s protecting citizens, not rioters. Florida under Trump sets the national standard: no tolerance for leftist mobs, no apology for defending peace. While blue states bow to chaos, strong…

There are always a few who think that living in an orderly and safe society is a kind of grisly oppression:
THis is not a society I want to live in either.
Why must we choose between the worst outcomes of each side?

Take the badge off of this fat boy and he’s just a sad little kid who had no friends and a dad who never hugged him.
