Rep. Jasmine Crockett just said something stupendously stupid in a podcast interview with Getting Better’s Jonathan Van Ness, claiming that doing crime doesn’t make someone a criminal.

Watch how she explains this:

You’re not a criminal as long as you have good reason for doing the crime! Hey, I had a good reason for stealing these groceries! I’m poor, hungry, and didn’t want to get the free food offered down the road because I don’t want the same food again. Or, because I don’t want anyone to know I’m hungry.

Geez. What a crock! This is how Democrats have been changing definitions and why they are so soft on crime, which has led to far more crime in blue cities because of their policies.

I remember growing up learning that ‘sin’ is not being angry, but what you did with that anger that hurt someone else. Well this is exactly the opposite logic. Crime isn’t that thing you did that hurt someone else, but the motivation you had in your mind when you did it.
