Fox News is reporting that three oil tankers have now been struck in the Strait of Hormuz, with the latest being hit by a drone. We reported last night that two had been hit by missiles, so I believe those are the “two other tankers” Fox News is referencing.

British military officials say a third commercial vessel was hit by a drone after two other tankers were attacked earlier in the critical oil-shipping corridor.

The latest ship suffered minor damage, no injuries were reported, and it continued its voyage.

The attacks raise fresh concerns about security in one of the world’s most important energy chokepoints.
