DCNF(DCNF)—The American Communist Party’s (ACP) Colorado chapter posted a video that resurfaced on Friday, showing members struggling with basic construction work.

ACP Colorado originally posted the video to X on Dec. 17, but it had only 10,000 views as of Friday afternoon. X account End Wokeness posted a shorter version of the video that went viral and claimed the ACP deleted their video, writing, “They set out to portray communists as blue-collar regular working people. It completely backfired.”

End Wokeness did not provide the Daily Caller News Foundation with information to verify whether ACP actually deleted the video on any of its platforms.

The video showed a comrade “screwing in [a] screw backwards” on a cabinet, popular X user Matt Van Swol noted in response to End Wokeness’ post. Another X user noted that a comrade “was putting the knob on the cabinet backwards.”

“ACP Colorado cadre are gaining hands-on construction experience, learning advanced fabrication techniques for mass production of affordable housing, and why affordability cannot be achieved as long as inflated asset prices are protected for landlords, financiers, and rent-extracting elites,” ACP Colorado wrote in its Dec. 17 post, which remains up as of Friday afternoon.

Only 42% of Democrats said they held a positive view of capitalism, compared to 66% who had a positive view of socialism, Gallup found in a poll published on Sept. 8.

Hannah Shvets, a 20-year-old Cornell student, who has been described as a member of the Communist Party, ran as a Democrat and won Ithaca’s Fifth Ward Common Council seat on Nov. 11.

The ACP did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.
