Israeli-American businessman and reality television personality Yakir Levi died Monday night after falling from the 28th floor of a luxury beachfront resort in South Florida, according to authorities and local reports.

Levi, 45, a married father of three, fell from the Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach in Sunny Isles Beach.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports of an adult man falling from the building at approximately 9:30 p.m., according to the Daily Mail.

A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office told the outlet that Levi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not publicly disclosed what led to the fall.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.

Family Mourns Sudden Loss

Levi’s death prompted an outpouring of grief from relatives and friends.

In a Facebook tribute, a woman identified as Levi’s sister wrote:

“My dear precious brother.

“I entrust his soul to the Creator.

“May someone wake me up from this crazy nightmare.”

His final social media post showed him aboard a boat at night holding a cigar, appearing relaxed in the hours before his death.

According to the Jerusalem Post, Levi will be buried in Israel.

Investigators have not announced whether they have determined the cause of the fall.
