Jasmine Crockett Doubles Down on Racial Historical Revisionism

Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett made another headline-grabbing appearance—this time on the TS Madison show, Outlaws. Now, I’d say her behavior was unusual, but let’s be honest: for Jasmine Crockett, this is par for the course.
In her latest outburst, she claimed that Republicans would “put her back in chains” if they could. Apparently, she’s unfamiliar with American history—or just hopes you are. The Republican Party was literally founded to abolish slavery. It was the abolitionist party. So no, Republicans didn’t put anyone in chains—and they certainly can’t put her “back” in them.
What makes Crockett’s rhetoric so absurd is that she rails against injustices from the past as if they were committed by “America” as a whole. But let’s be clear: it was the Democratic Party—the same one she proudly belongs to—that defended slavery, imposed Jim Crow, and fought against civil rights for over a century. Yet she chooses to stay loyal to that party while blaming Republicans for crimes her own party committed.
Jasmine Crockett is the perfect example of a politician loudly complaining about the consequences of her own party’s history, while pretending it’s someone else’s fault.
Crockett is a race-baiting hypocrite who deliberately stokes racial tension, often by accusing others of racism while making racially charged or divisive statements themselves.

“And the idea that, you know, when people get all riled up about anybody, right, that is not old, white, male and rich — anytime they get very riled up, I just think about and I wonder: what did the struggles look like back in the day? When we had not enjoyed things such as the passing of the Civil Rights Act, when we did not enjoy some of the freedoms, where we acknowledged things like Jim Crow was wrong. And I think about the fact that when they justified not treating us as a whole person, when they justified us being somebody else’s property, when they justified, you know, separate but equal, and not allowing us to learn together, not allowing us to eat in the same places or drink out of the same facilities — when I think about those things, I think about the fact that they justified it, number one, through the Bible.”
RESPONSE:
Jasmine Crockett never misses an opportunity to rewrite history and weaponize identity politics. Her latest rant is a masterclass in projection and misinformation.
Let’s start with the facts. The people who “justified” slavery, segregation, and Jim Crow laws? They weren’t Republicans. They were Democrats — the very party she now champions. It was the Democratic Party that stood in the schoolhouse doors, pushed “separate but equal,” and voted against the Civil Rights Act in greater numbers than Republicans.
And now she wants to invoke the Bible? The same Bible that abolitionists — many of whom founded the Republican Party — used to fight slavery tooth and nail? Twisting Scripture to blame modern Republicans for sins committed by Southern Democrats 150 years ago isn’t just dishonest, it’s disgraceful.
The truth is, no one is riled up because Jasmine Crockett isn’t an “old, white, rich male.” They’re riled up because she consistently says ridiculous, divisive things with zero accountability and even less historical literacy.
Crockett isn’t a victim of racism. She’s a beneficiary of America’s progress — the very progress made possible by the same country and Constitution she can’t stop complaining about.
CROCKETT:
“And then I think about the fact that they also had this justification as if we were different, as if we didn’t all bleed the same, and we weren’t the same. And so, as the attacks seem new, they really are tired and old, and we’ve been through them before. And I can recognize the hate no matter if we’re talking about in the ’50s or if we’re talking about in 2025.”
RESPONSE:
Jasmine Crockett is once again pretending that legitimate criticism of her reckless rhetoric and poor performance is somehow the same as Jim Crow. It’s not.
No one is attacking her because of her race. They’re calling her out because she says absurd things, rewrites history, and plays the victim every time someone disagrees with her. That’s not hate — that’s accountability.
She talks about recognizing hate? Well, here’s some truth: the only thing tired and old is this constant race-baiting to deflect from real issues. This isn’t the 1950s. America has come a long way — thanks in large part to the very Constitution she keeps implying is broken.
If Jasmine Crockett wants to look for systemic injustice, maybe she should start with the party that filibustered the Civil Rights Act and ran the KKK — her own Democratic Party. Because the only thing being recycled here is their victimhood narrative.
CROCKETT:
“And so with me, I know that we’ve persevered past them. We have still been able to accomplish so much despite them. And I truly believe that as we walk into this next season — this losing season for the haters — I think that we will again be able to transgress and show that, like, we are great, we are normal. We are actually — if anything — we got superpowers, as far as I’m concerned.”
RESPONSE:
Jasmine Crockett just called it a “losing season for the haters” — but the only thing losing here is her grasp on reality.
Yes, Americans have persevered — not because of politicians like her, but in spite of them. And let’s be clear: no one’s calling her out because she has “superpowers.” They’re calling her out because she says ridiculous things and plays the race card every time she’s held accountable.
Crockett talks about greatness, but continues to divide, deflect, and distort history. That’s not strength. That’s political theater. And calling herself “normal” after claiming Republicans want to put her in chains? Please.
Here’s the truth: Americans are tired of being lectured by people who twist victimhood into a resume. Real power is found in truth, humility, and unity — not in soundbites soaked in narcissism.
CROCKETT:
“So it is easier, in my opinion, to do what’s right every single day that I go in and serve and do right for everyone. Because at the end of the day, I know that there was a time and a place, and if they could, they would throw me back in chains. Somehow, those that came before us managed to break loose of the physical chains, even though we still have a bunch of systemic chains that we are still kind of wrangling with.”
RESPONSE:
Jasmine Crockett really loves to play the martyr — claiming that if people could, they’d “throw her back in chains.” That’s not bravery. That’s delusion.
No one in Congress wants to “chain” her. They just want her to stop spewing nonsense and race-baiting every time someone questions her performance. And if we’re talking about chains, let’s talk about the real ones — the Democratic Party’s legacy of slavery, segregation, and systemic oppression. That’s the party she serves.
The truth is, she’s not fighting oppression — she’s clinging to it. She talks about “doing right for everyone,” but spends most of her time dividing people by race and rewriting history to play the victim. That’s not leadership. That’s manipulation.
Systemic chains? No. What we’re dealing with is a political class that refuses to acknowledge progress because grievance is more profitable than gratitude. Crockett isn’t shackled. She’s been elevated to Congress in the freest, most opportunity-filled nation on Earth — and she repays it with bitterness and blame.
Black Americans have every right to speak about the injustices in their history — no one denies that. But let’s stop pretending that Republicans were the ones behind slavery, Jim Crow, poll taxes, segregation, or the founding of the KKK. Those atrocities were carried out by the Democratic Party, not the GOP.
In fact, the Republican Party has consistently supported civil rights from its inception. And when the 1964 Civil Rights Act came to a vote, it was Republicans — despite being the minority in Congress — who backed it in higher percentages than Democrats. It was Republican support that pushed it over the finish line.
Yet somehow, the GOP never gets credit for that. Maybe it’s time that changed.
