One of the strangest stories slithering out of the Swamp isn’t coming from Congress, the White House, or any of the campaign trails, like you might expect.

This bizarre story centers around the left-wing, anti-Trump FBI officials who were fired under Kash Patel, now launching a goofy support network for agents who are rattled by the FBI overhaul. It includes legal help, job-search services, mental health resources, the whole shebang.
It’s pretty ironic that the guys who helped unleash weaponized justice and lawfare on innocent Americans now need a self-help group after they got fired for being unprofessional, politically biased stormtroopers.
It’s no secret that the FBI became one of the most weaponized institutions in the country. Whether it was the Russia hoax, the J6 scandal, school board controversies, or the laundry list of political bias, millions of Americans lost trust in the bureau.
Now many of the agents responsible for the downfall of the FBI are describing an agency in “crisis,” as Kash Patel works to reshape the bureau and bring respectability back.
Needless to say, the American people aren’t buying sympathy cards or fruit baskets.

These butt-hurt former FBI officials now claim the new bureau under Kash is so toxic and tense that current agents need a dedicated support network.
“There’s an incredible amount of tension inside the agency right now,” said Michael Mason, a former senior executive in the bureau. “We want our colleagues who are still in the service of the F.B.I. to know there are people out here who recognize what is happening. People are being fired without any due process as the Justice Department is being weaponized in a way that is totally unfamiliar to those of us who served long and distinguished careers there.”
Wow. Really, guys?
Conservatives have been screaming from the rooftops about weaponization for years now. They were laughed off and told they were imagining things. Now the fired FBI officials are using the exact same messaging, only this time they’re saying the “reforms” inside have been weaponized against them.
Well, if you’re not doing your job properly, getting fired should be the next logical step.
But now these fired agents are organizing to provide support to their comrades on the inside, who they say are “under attack.”
NYT:
“It’s time for those of us who served our country with the F.B.I. to offer our assistance to the special agents, intelligence analysts and the professional staff who are under attack,” Mr. Driscoll said in a video announcing the new group. “Those facing these unprecedented times are not alone.”
Well, again, they should be under a microscope if they’re still politicized and using their power to target Americans who don’t vote the “right” way.

And in what some are calling a jaw-dropping plot twist, these agents are now claiming the bureau has suddenly become “politicized.”
Somebody should ask Tina Peters, Douglass Mackey, President Trump, Steve Bannon, and J6 defendants how they feel about FBI politicization.
NYT:
“Law enforcement and national security work should be resolutely apolitical,” he said. “You investigate threats and prosecute criminals without fear or favor. Seeing that norm not just eroded but purposely destroyed is fundamentally changing the nature and culture of the F.B.I.”
The problem for these tone-deaf agents is that public trust in the FBI didn’t just start collapsing now. It started cracking years and years ago, ramped up when President Trump took office, and went completely off the rails during the Biden regime.
These former officials also claim there’s this new, growing disconnect between leadership and the workforce.
NYT:
“There is now a wide gulf between what the director says in public and in testimony before Congress, and what the work force sees happening to their colleagues on a daily basis,” he said. “I think the way a lot of employees feel right now is that at least some senior career executives have been willing to compromise with Kash Patel in those matters in an effort to secure their own employment. It’s difficult to articulate how much of a betrayal of the F.B.I. ethos this is.”
The truth is, the FBI is a rotten bureaucracy that’s become very used to operating one way and is now being forced to act professionally and do their jobs the right way.

What this New York Times piece reveals more than anything is that there are still a ton of rotten eggs inside the FBI.
Hopefully Kash Patel reads this and realizes he has a lot more housecleaning to do.
Meanwhile, the bitter former agents who need therapy and support dogs can hold their group sob fest at a dog park, as long as they do it on their own dime and stay far away from any real power from here on out.
