Watch: NBA Commish Torches Hakeem Jeffries' Trump-Knicks Spin With a Brutal Reality Check

Jeffries would do well to ponder the wise words of Commission Silver, who also commented before the game, "I think we should be using sports to create more of a sense of community with people, not less."

Spencer Pratt Is Still in the Fight, and He'll Do More Than Get by With a Lot of Help From His Friends

So, no matter how Democrats and the Left wish to spin this Los Angeles mayor's race, it's not over until it's over. Thanks to California and its machinations with the vote count, Spencer Pratt is still in the fight.

Why Solar Farms Are Now Prime Targets for Organized Crime

File this under "unintended consequences." With all the myriad problems grid-scale solar power presents, now we see that they are, apparently, an irresistible target for thieves.

Here’s today’s Townhall family sites batch, kept strictly slug-based since these were not directly live-verified:

Bearing Arms — As New York Tries to Ban BB Guns, Crossman Does Funniest Thing Possible

As it's a BB gun that looks like an AR-15 style rifle, and New York officials are already losing their minds over BB guns, apparently, this is the funniest thing I can even think of an air gun company doing, even if they didn't mean to.

HotAir — Talarico's Genius Strategy: Lie

I'm not at all surprised that Talarico is doing an about-face to win, nor am I surprised that he is getting plaudits for upping his game at lying.

PJ Media — Are the Vances Adding More Than Just a New Baby to Their Family?

Raising your own chickens is also something promoted by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) movement. It allows you to replace processed junk in your diet with nutrient-rich foods, it promotes self-reliance over Big Agriculture and industrial farming, and it gets kids outside doing something besides looking at screens all day.

Townhall — DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin Absolutely Bodied Mikie Sherrill for Lying About ICE Detention Facility

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill tried to reignite controversy, claiming she was denied access to the facility for weeks, only to recently obtain partial clearance, which she found insufficient.

Twitchy — 'Better LAWYER UP': LA's Nithya Raman Absolutely SHREDDED for Thanking 'Her Voters' in Victory Lap

The victory lap, however, was met with an avalanche of skepticism in the replies, where users pointed to her third-place finish in her own council district, an earlier concession on election night, and a suspiciously timed surge from late mail-in ballots that somehow vaulted her into the runoff against the odds—prompting fresh demands for a full audit and accusations that the results reflect the same ballot-harvesting concerns recently captured on undercover video in the city.

Dir. Central Intelligence Agency - John Ratcliffe — Consistent with his role, Ratcliffe maintains a relatively low profile, but the CIA X account is sharing some interesting bits of intelligence history.

    Full Court Press...

Not gonna lie — didn't get a run-through of court cases done yesterday, so not much to report here, except that we can be reasonably certain the Supreme Court will hand down more decisions this week — most likely on Thursday. We'll be keeping an eye out for them, of course.

We're also keeping an eye on that suit filed to challenge the big UFC match at the White House set for this weekend. Expect a ruling on that sometime Thursday as well. 🍿

    COMING ATTRACTIONS

President Trump is heading to Wisconsin for a roundtable discussion on Friday. He's set to attend the G7 Summit in Évian-Les-Bains, France, in mid-June.

Before that, however, he'll be celebrating his 80th birthday (on June 14), complete with a UFC match on the White House lawn...we think.

The annual Congressional Baseball Game is set for Wednesday night at Nationals Park.

    MORNING MUSING

Of all the things to get worked up over a president doing — and there are plenty — hosting a sporting event at the White House oughtn't be one of them.

Yes, yes, I know, it's ostentatious, maybe even tacky, and looks, from the north side of the White House, like Jaws is about to chomp down on 1600 Pennsylvania.

Frankly, my dears, I don't give a damn.

It's temporary. And DJT is only turning 80 once. Of course someone filed a lawsuit over it. The question is whether Judge Amit Mehta is going to actually agree with those trying to prevent it. We'll know soon enough.
