New Data on Dems Is Historically Disastrous, Reveals They're Making a Huge Mistake

As we move toward the midterms, we see Democrats seemingly in complete confusion.

They're stuck in scandals of their own making by backing people like Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner. Meanwhile, they're not actually doing anything constructive for the people or listening to what the general electorate wants.

But the Democrats keep digging the hole deeper, and even as their own Democratic voters are not happy with what they are doing.

Now the numbers from CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten tell the tale not only of how unhappy their own voters are, but it reveals the huge mistake the Democrat powers that be are making.

First, Enten pointed out how bad the number was for Democrats who were satisfied with the party, about 46 percent. It was worse than the number right after Joe Biden's disastrous debate in 2024, which was 53 percent. Now, 52 percent of their voters are dissatisfied, which is incredibly bad. Their "pissedoffness" has never been higher, Enten proclaimed.

That translates into their congressional approval number, Enten explained. Putting it into context, he noted their net approval rating in October 2025 was +22. But now, for the first time, they have a negative net approval rating, at -9, "an over 30 point decline, right into the ocean," with their own Democratic voters. That's unprecedented.

So what do the Democratic voters want? Are there signs of which way they want their party to move? Yes, and this is where the big mistake comes in. Enten laid out how 28 percent want the party to move left, 18 percent want it not to move, and 47 percent want it to move to the center.

The party is confused as to which direction they want to go. But the large majority don't want it to move left, if this is accurate. Yet what are the Democrat powers that be doing? Kowtowing to the left and racing to embrace leftist candidates like Platner and James Talarico in Texas.

This is not only going to upset their own party, but it's also at odds with 61 percent of the voters in general who want the party to move to the center. So they're likely to be sabotaging themselves by this move, particularly in general elections, as the American people see more and more how extreme they have become. This is why even in California, they're facing substantial challenges.

As Enten notes, the only thing the Democrats are relatively united on is attacking President Donald Trump. But that's all they've done for more than ten years. That's not a positive policy platform for the benefit of the American people. This is why the public views them as so empty, and their cluelessness is going to be a huge weight dragging them down in the midterms.
