Around 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 49-year-old Marc Okon allegedly targeted the stroller near Sixth Avenue and West 41st Street, striking the baby girl in the left arm with a cell phone and causing visible redness.

Okon, who is homeless, then reportedly retrieved the device and threw it again at the 39-year-old mother, though the phone missed its mark.

Police took Okon into custody at the scene, charging him with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and reckless endangerment.

Police said the victims did not know Okon.
