Trump blasts critics of Iran plan as 'fools' and 'stupid' as president claims he was tough on Tehran
President Trump blasted critics of the Iran deal as “fools” for not thinking he was tough on Tehran, describing them as “either jealous, bad people, or stupid.”
He pointed to the stock market, which rose on news of the deal, and the price of oil, which fell under $80 a barrel for the first time since March.

“These fools, who think I haven’t been tough enough on Iran, when the Stock Market Just Hit A RECORD HIGH, and Oil prices are “tumbling” down, are either jealous, bad people, or stupid,” he wrote on Truth Social, shortly after he returned to the White House from his trip to Europe.
Several Republican lawmakers publicly trashed the plan, complaining that the US gave too many concessions to Iran.
