Actor Anthony Stewart Head dead at 72

Actor Anthony Stewart Head died Friday at the age of 72 due to complications from pneumonia.
“Our grief is far greater than the hole he has left behind, but we know his legacy will live on, in the shows he was a part of, and in the audiences that love them,” his daughters, Emily and Daisy Head, said in a statement, according to the Associated Press. “How lucky we are to know we are able to watch him doing what he loved, even when he is no longer with us.”
His career spanned decades across stage, film, and television. He was perhaps most well known for his role as Rupert Giles in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He also played Uther Pendragon in the long-running "Merlin" series.
In recent years, portrayed Rupert Mannion in "Ted Lasso."
Some of his film roles included Chiron in "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" and Will's father in "The Inbetweeners Movie."
He also had several smaller parts in hit series like "Monarch of the Glen," "Jack Ryan," and "Drunk History."
