Where are the Arrests? History Shows It's Difficult
This week’s episode tackles the concern many on the political right have of why are there no arrests of public officials who did malicious deeds? This is a tough process to get going with a bureaucracy that protects its own, and we saw a single early indicator that these would go nowhere. There is also a historical example that shows just how difficult even straightforward simple cases can be when the deep state supports them. Amerasia was a small time case and little footnote in mid-20th century American history, but it made anti-communists have to turn to Congress for any punishment of communists.
