President Donald Trump is preparing to take center stage in Washington, D.C., later this month with what he is promising will be a massive kickoff event for the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.

According to Fox News, the president announced Thursday that he will headline a major gathering in the nation’s capital on June 24, describing it as a one-of-a-kind event featuring speakers, patriotic music, and special performances.

Trump revealed the plans in a post on Truth Social, where he touted the upcoming event as unlike anything supporters have seen before.

“On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the World, and in celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER!” Trump wrote.

The event, branded as DC Freedom 250, is intended to help launch festivities surrounding America’s semiquincentennial celebration.

“It will be special at every level — A Rally to end all Rallies!” Trump continued. “We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home. All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!”

Trump said the evening would feature guest speakers and musical performances, with a focus on patriotic themes.

The announcement follows recent questions about the future of planned Freedom 250 concerts that are part of the Great American State Fair, a 16-day festival scheduled to run from June 25 through July 10 on the National Mall.

Earlier this week, Trump floated the possibility of replacing the concert lineup with a large-scale MAGA rally after several performers withdrew from the event, including Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Young MC, The Commodores, and Morris Day.

Other performers have remained committed.

Vanilla Ice recently told Fox News Digital that he is still fully committed to appearing at the event.

“I’m 100%” committed, the rapper said, adding that criticism directed at performers only reinforced his decision to participate.

Trump also announced that country music star Lee Greenwood will introduce him and perform his signature patriotic anthem, “God Bless the U.S.A.”

In addition, Trump said several military musical groups will take part in the celebration.

“The Rally will also be featuring the wonderful U.S. Army Band ‘Pershing’s Own’ and Armed Forces Choir, and ‘The President’s Own’ Unites States Marine Band, with the Joint Armed Forces Chorus, all of your favorite Hits, PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMP!” he wrote.
