Yes, The DSA Is a Communist Organization

There was a time, back when I was young and virile, and the girls flocked to be seen with me, when the DSA went to great lengths to distinguish themselves from and even keep out the communists.

Their vision was more akin to implementing 1970s Nordic social democracy, with a mixed economy, a generous-to-a-fault welfare state, and strict limits on income inequality. It was a very flawed vision, but it was distinguishable from communism.

Two dozen prominent old-line members announced their resignation the next month, conceding that “today’s DSA has driven itself beyond redemption” and had become 'entirely wanting in its dedication to the moral principles that are the foundation of democratic socialism.'"

That time is long past, just as my Lothario days are. 

The term "Democratic Socialism" is now just a marketing term used by many DSA-aligned candidates and especially their media promoters who are determined to deny that today's "socialists" have anything in common with communists, despite their openly Marxist chants, approving quotes of Lenin and Mao, and the fact that the most prominent members of the DSA openly say that they are communists.

It reminds me of Politifact's insistence that Zohran Mamdani isn't a communist because he didn't use the word on his website. 

Sure, he SAYS he wants to seize the means of production, but calling him a communist is false!

The thing is, no matter how many times the Pravda Media says that the DSA Democrats aren't communists, the DSA communists keep saying that they are, in fact, communists, and their platform is every bit as radical as their critics say so. 

Media folks are in a bit of a pickle depending on which faction of the Democratic Party they align with. If they depend on having good relations with the Organized Crime Democrats, as some do, then they are obliged to at least acknowledge that the DSA folks are more than a bit extreme. 

On the other hand, if they are in the younger, more ideologically-aligned set, they are actually pretty sympathetic to the communist wing of the Party. Abby Philip, whose attachment to reality is so tenuous as to be almost invisible, will continue to deny that the DSA is interested in anything but love, flowers, and affordability.

One of the most bizarre things to watch is the Organized Crime Democrats freak out when the DSA-types actually mean things like "decarceration," "open borders," "eliminate ICE," and all the rest. It's bizarre because almost all of them have been cosplaying as radicals to play to the base, but have maintained their ties to the donor class who gave them a wink and a nod as they wrote their big checks. 

Suddenly, they have to contend with the fact that the communists are coming, and all those radical ideas they loudly promoted have been adopted, for real, by the people who will soon displace them. 

Donny Deutsch, on MSNOW, just gave us an inside sneak peek at establishment Democrats’ panic about the rise of extremist DSA candidates:

"Well, Democrats have gone off the rails... Democrats right now are focused on two things:"

• "Antisemitism."

• "Socialism."

"This is ridiculous... let's abolish ICE, let's abolish prisons, let's abolish everything, let's abolish the police. It's INSANE."

"Republicans are going to TAR them with this... every Republican strategist is salivating on what these people have said in the past, and they're going to wallpaper it with it."

"Democrats are going down a bad path. They're electing these Democratic socialists. It's a disaster. No matter what you think of it, wherever your politics are, it's bad strategy."

Democrats who, just a few months ago, were calling ICE the Gestapo and Trump a fascist are now having to contend with the fact that there is a large contingency of the Democratic Party base that actually believes this crap, and who hate the Democrats as much as the Republicans, because they are all part of a fundamentally corrupt system. 

When they say "systemically ...ist," they mean that the system itself is unreformable. They are genuine revolutionaries, although most of them are also advocates of the Long March Through the Institutions. They believe that their time is now. 

The genius of the Mamdani DSA-types is that they are far better at marketing communism than most communists have ever been. They know how to rile up the disaffected and soothe the virtue-signaling ignorant lefties who think that their goal is paying off student loans and giving them free health care. 

No, they love Luigi Mangione. They love Hasan Piker, who shouts about capitalist blood in the streets and loves Mao and Lenin. 

The only really new thing about them is that they hate Jews with a passion. The old DSA was filled with Jews who were idealists; the new DSA is filled with Islamists who want them all dead.

I've always been mystified that ordinary Democrats weren't put off by the idolization of Che Guevara, the fetish for the raised fist as a symbol, and the embrace of rioting. All of these things are objectively repulsive to people who believe in ordered liberty and democratic liberalism. 

They must assume it is performative. 

Insiders know it is not, but they have catered to it because they have been useful as Brownshirts. But now that their most reliable voting blocs have become radicalized, they are rightly panicking. They understand that their heads are on the chopping block as well. 

Communists are, for the moment, winning the battle within the Democratic Party. The Organized Crime Democrats are not without resources to fight back, but they are going to have to do so while also trying to win elections against Republicans without the help of a significant bloc of people they have counted on. 

It went unnoticed, but both leaders of the teachers' unions, the NEA and the AFT, resigned from the Democratic National Committee after years of being key members. The DNC was not radical enough for them. Many NGOs, when given the choice, will also defect and take their resources, and the Soros and Singham crowd will choose the communists over the Organized Crime Democrats when they can.

UPDATE: During an hour-long TikTok Live last night, Teha Delaruelle defended his calls for “Trans Jihad” and to “K*ll Your Local Republican,” claiming he was simply saying out loud what everyone else says privately.

Delaruelle received a visit from local police, but he was in Milwaukee protesting ICE at the time.

None of this is normal, and apparently, a lot of activists in the Wisconsin Democrats believe this too.

We can hope that the rapid rise of the Bolsheviks will be followed by a rapid fall, but I wouldn't bet much on it. We have a lot of useless college-educated downwardly mobile ignoramuses in this country, and a vast group of newly-imported illegal migrants and second-generation children of immigrants who hate this country, and openly say so. And many of them are willing to go to great lengths to displace Americans. 

The Muslim alliance with the Bolsheviks is a powerful force, and while it likely can't get anybody to the presidency, it will swallow Blue regions and perhaps Blue states. 

Organized Crime Democrats are right to be scared. Like Dr. Frankenstein, they constructed a monster they cannot control.
