Finnish Court Reportedly Orders Woman To Pay Legal Fees For Foreign Men She Says Raped Her

The Helsinki Court of Appeal reportedly dismissed charges against three men of “foreign background” accused of raping an intoxicated 17-year-old girl, ordering the woman to pay the opposing party’s legal fees on Thursday.

Those legal fees reportedly amount to over 16,000 euros, or over 18,300 U.S. dollars, while the state will pay her own costs. All three men were of foreign background, according to a translated report from Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.

The girl was taken to the hospital emergency room in October 2024 due to extreme drunkenness, the Finnish Broadcasting Company reported. There, three men allegedly took the girl from the hospital to the forest where she says they raped her, according to a translated report from Finnish tabloid Iltalehti.

The court heard that the girl walked into the forest with the men of her own volition and began having sex with them in a bush. She was allegedly interrupted by a hospital guard, got dressed, and moved to a second bush with the men. The Helsinki District Court previously determined that hospital surveillance cameras “show[ed] the girl in a good mood and not particularly intoxicated.”

The girl was brought to the hospital with a blood alcohol content of “over two per mille,” according to Iltalehti. That corresponds to a BAC of over 0.2% on the American BAC scale, more than twice the legal limit for driving in most of the U.S.

At that level of intoxication, a person is significantly likely to experience motor impairment and confusion, and is at risk for blackouts, memory loss, and alcohol poisoning. The severity of the girl’s intoxication was apparently known, given it reportedly brought her to the emergency room.

One wonders exactly what was going through the heads of hospital staff when they reportedly permitted a 17-year-old girl to leave the building with a trio of men she had just met.

A doctor told the court that the girl was “drunk and very businesslike” before the alleged rape occurred, according to Helsingin Sanomat.

Regardless, an emergency room does not seem like an obvious place to meet new sexual partners. I’m reminded of the alleged conduct of social workers and medical staff and police officers detailed in The Rape Gang Inquiry Report. Over and over, British rape victims testify that officials ignored obvious signs of distress and abuse and pleas for help. The Rape Gang Inquiry Report suggests that the United Kingdom effectively sponsored the rape of its young girls by foreign men. One wonders just how many European countries have adopted the same agenda as the United Kingdom, sacrificing their girls on the altar of diversity.
