Friday saw the Chicago Bears take a major shift towards exiting Illinois.

The plans for the Bears to exit their home state since their founding for Indiana took place only days following the conclusion of the spring legislative session in Illinois.

“We believe a world-class stadium project in Hammond will transform the region, connecting Northwest Indiana and the South Side of Chicago through the Loop and across the neighborhoods and suburbs stretching north of the city,” said Bears Chairman George H. McCaskey and CEO Kevin Warren in an official statement.

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie — it’s pretty lame seeing the Bears leave Chicago, a city that I have love and respect for. But that’s the thing — when you have Democrats leading the way with politics and business negotiations, relocations happen, and that’s what’s going on with the Bears.

It’s like the story I covered recently, and it’s linked at the top of this article, regarding the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, who has been affiliated with the Democrat Party.

The same people who have no pride in the city nor the local teams, who leave games early to beat traffic, these are the people you trust, Chicago, to keep your teams in town?

I hate to say it, Chi-Town, but you’re cooked until you start voting Republican.
