Well … we clearly don’t have to worry about the future of hockey.

The Central Penn Panthers Youth Ice Hockey Club has confirmed it is carrying out an internal investigation after a crazy brawl broke out involving young players during the Hershey Bears’ “Mites on Ice” event that took place Saturday night.

In a statement shared via their official Facebook page, which seems to have been deleted since its original posting, the organization described the situation as an “incident” that occurred during intermission of the Bears’ game against the Cleveland Monsters. The club emphasized that it is thoroughly reviewing the matter.

Video footage of the event, posted to Twitter by abc27 Sports Director Allie Berube, shows several youth hockey players engaging in fighting on the ice, with multiple players tackling one another and exchanging punches. The video has rapidly spread across social media platforms, amassing millions of views and shares. The clip has also drawn attention from national sports media.

Personally, I’m all good with letting the kids fight it out on the ice like this, it teaches character and strength, but where in the hell were the referees to break things up when they hit the ice?

LMAO … we literally had more aggression than the NHL here, which is crazy work.
