June 17 and June 21– Alex Padilla Cries Twice In Less Than A Week

Democratic Sen. Alex Padilla of California had two public tear fests in June. First, he bawled on the Senate floor after he was taken down while storming a press conference held by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

Four days later, Padilla cried over Vice President J.D. Vance accidentally calling him “Jose” – referencing accused al-Qaeda terrorist Jose Padilla. A spokesperson for Vance later said he “must have mixed up two people who have broken the law.”

“He’s the vice president of the United States, you’d think he’d take the situation in Los Angeles more seriously. You know, you’d think maybe he’d take a moment to talk to some of the families who have been impacted — have been terrorized — to feel what’s really going on on the ground,” an emotional Padilla claimed on June 21.

On Oct. 9, she cried while discussing the backlash.

I want to take a moment to share what happened and sorry, and what I will do going forward,” Spillman claimed during the meeting as she appeared to choke back a sob. “Last week I did make a Facebook post on my personal and private account.”

At least two parents of students who joined the TPUSA chapter demanded Spillman’s resignation.

Nov.13 – Liberal Cries Because TPUSA Chapter Got Okayed

After a TPUSA chapter was approved at Royal Oak High School in Michigan, a liberal parent addressed the school board on Nov. 13, crying as she fretted about what the formation of the chapter would mean.

“By providing a space and a charter to exist in our high school, are we not signaling to our LGBTQ plus community, people of color, people with neurodivergences, and those struggling with mental illness that they are not safe at school anymore?” Kim Johnson asked before breaking into tears.
