NFL Star Makes One Of Dumbest 'Good Grief' Mistakes You Can Do

It baffles me how professionals can make this mistake … wow.
In last week’s action, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell dropped the football before crossing the goal line for what would have been an easy touchdown, and it ended up giving the opposition a touchback. Crazy enough, it happened again here in Week 5. (RELATED: Miami Alumni Michael Irvin Gets Into Confrontation With Florida State Troll After Hurricanes-Seminoles Rivalry Renewed)
Emari Demercado, the running back of the Arizona Cardinals, busted through the Tennessee Titans defense for what was going to be a sweat-free 72-yard touchdown. But here’s the problem: Not only did Demercado ridiculously slow down, but he embarrassingly dropped the ball just prior to crossing the goal line.
If Arizona punched in the score, they would have gone up 28-6, but with Demercado’s bone-headed “play,” it ended up being a touchback for Tennessee. Handed momentum, the Titans took advantage and went 80 yards down the field to score a touchdown, their first in two weeks.

As a Miami Hurricanes fan, I’d personally like to thank Emari Demercado and his stupidity for contributing to Cam Ward‘s first win in the NFL, and the fact that this came just a day after the Canes whooped up on Florida States makes it even sweeter.
Michael Irvin, take it away!

It’s great to be a Miami Hurricane, baby. Absolutely glorious.
