Raising Cane's Fires Employees Who Allegedly Yelled 'Execute' At Charlie Kirk Supporters

A Raising Cane’s in Fort Collins, Colorado, confirmed on Friday that it has fired employees who mocked and cursed at supporters of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
A small group of conservatives wearing MAGA hats and American flag shirts entered the fast food restaurant after attending a vigil for Kirk on Sept. 18, where they were met by employees shouting “f*** Charlie Kirk,” “execute” and “Free Palestine,” the Larimer County Republican Party reported on Thursday. The restaurant confirmed to The Federalist on Friday that the incident resulted in the employees’ firings.
“We received complaints about an incident that occurred last week at our Fort Collins, CO, Restaurant,” Raising Cane’s told The Federalist. “Due to these complaints, we thoroughly investigated the incident, took appropriate action, and resolved the matter to the satisfaction of the Customers who made the complaints.”
In response to a follow-up question, Raising Cane’s confirmed that the employees are no longer employed with them. (RELATED: Students Confront School Board Meeting To Urge Firing Of Teacher Who Celebrated Kirk Assassination)
“Yes, we took immediate action and the individuals involved are no longer employed by Raising Cane’s,” the restaurant said.

Employers across the nation have fired people for openly celebrating and making light of Kirk’s assassination. The Washington Post fired columnist Karen Attiah on Sept. 12 for falsely quoting Kirk saying, “black women do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously” on BlueSky, a left-wing social media website. While she has since acknowledged that she misquoted Kirk, she doubled down on the baseless accusations that he was a racist.
Attiah has since filed a grievance against the Post, alleging that it violated its labor policy by firing her.
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) fired its assistant dean, Laura Sosh-Lightsy, for writing on Facebook that she had “zero sympathy” for Kirk. Clemson University also fired one faculty member and suspended two others on Sept. 16 for mocking Kirk’s death.
MSNBC fired political analyst Matthew Dowd on Sept. 10, the day that Kirk was assassinated, for stating on “Katy Tur Reports” that Kirk brought his own assassination onto himself by pushing so-called “hate speech.”
Disney executives suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for three days over his false accusation that the alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, was part of the “MAGA gang.” ABC and Sinclair, a major broadcasting company that airs its affiliate networks, have since lifted the preemption.
