NFL Head Coach Exploding In Locker Room After Blowout Win Will Make You Want To Throw Table

It’s gotta feel good to be a Detroit Lions fan! (I can’t relate being a Miami Dolphins fan)

Granted, head coach Dan Campbell & Co. got absolutely embarrassed in the first week of action against the Green Bay Packers. It was such a bad victory that it instantly had people asking questions, with one of the biggest being about his ex-offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and if Campbell’s success came from him.

Yeah, people aren’t asking that anymore after Sunday.

In a high-scoring affair, Detroit dropped 50 on Chicago to get a 52-31 win Sunday, and even better for Campbell, he got a victory over Johnson who is now the head coach of the Bears. It honestly seemed like Campbell had a point to prove, explaining the 50-bomb that came out of nowhere, and I don’t blame him. What’s a better way to shut up the noise than by running up the score on your former colleague?

And man, you can tell he was pumped about it.

After the Lions got the dub to bump up their record to 1-1, Campbell absolutely erupted in the locker room, and boy oh boy, it’s one of those “damn, I’m glad football is back” moments.

One of the worst things my Dolphins ever did was let this man walk. To this day, I don’t understand why he didn’t become the permanent head coach after doing a fantastic job on an interim basis. I just don’t get it. Instead, we got Adam friggin’ Gase.

Sigh … you’re lucky, Detroit.
