Her death was confirmed in an online obituary that described her as a “bright light has left this world too soon.” It was noted that her death was “unexpected but peaceful.”  Tender words were written to capture the impact McNeff had on her loved ones, however no information was provided about the circumstances that led to her death.

“Hayley was known for her quick wit and constant sense of humor, she had a gift for making those around her laugh and feel welcome,” the obituary said. “Her energy and determination was a constant in her life and she always accomplished what she set out to achieve.”

The obituary went on to state that McNeff “treasured her friendships and nurtured strong, lasting relationships with those who knew her best” and that she “will be deeply missed” by her loved ones.
