Aaron Rodgers Makes Huge Declaration On Upcoming NFL Season (Well, Sort Of)

Aaron Rodgers is calling it a career! … Or is he?

As entertaining (or annoying) as it’s been, it looks like we might have seen our last offseason where we pay attention to an Aaron Rodgers free agency. And that’s because of the new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback saying that 2025 will be his final campaign, kind of.

Rodgers made the … do we call it announcement? … while speaking on “The Pat McAfee Show.” (RELATED: Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Keeps It Real About Biological Males In Female Sports)

“Yeah, I’m pretty sure this is it,” said Rodgers, via ESPN. “That’s why we just did a one-year deal. Steelers didn’t need to put any extra years on that or anything, so this was really about finishing with a lot of love and fun and peace for the career that I’ve had. I played 20 frickin’ years. It’s been the long run. I’ve enjoyed it, and no better place to finish than in one of the cornerstone franchises of the NFL with Mike Tomlin and a great group of leadership and great guys in the city that expects you to win.”

So there you have it … Rodgers is “pretty sure” that he’s calling it a career after the upcoming season.

Personally, I’m over the whole Aaron Rodgers thing, so this is fine with me … shoutout to the ‘Burgh though.
