Damn, Shedeur! What are we doing?!

Shedeur Sanders, a rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns and son of Deion Sanders, was issued a citation by police Tuesday morning after he was busted for allegedly driving 101 mph, per police records, via ESPN.

Sanders was stopped at 12:24 a.m. by a Strongsville (Ohio) Police Department officer after he was allegedly driving a whopping 41 mph over a 60-mph speed zone, according to the police records obtained by ESPN. He was driving a black Dodge TRX truck. (RELATED: Miami Dolphins’ Bradley Chubb Reportedly Claims His Team Is Straight Up Liars)

Selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns after originally being projected as a first-round pick, the 23-year-old Sanders either has to pay a fine worth $250 for a misdemeanor to the fourth degree or take the ticket to Strongsville Mayor’s Court, with Sanders’ case scheduled for July 3.

Just recently, Sanders was a participant in Cleveland’s mandatory minicamp. Joined with other rookies, he stayed in the city for a Browns orientation, according to a report from Cleveland.com.

If the allegations are true, this is not a good way to start out your NFL career if you’re Shedeur Sanders, especially when he dropped all the way to the fifth round in the draft. All this tells me is that he’s still too cocky, that’s why he feels like he can drive 101 mph (allegedly).

Damn shame.
