CNN: Charlie Kirk Memorial 'Mostly Hateful'

ATLANTA — CNN's full coverage of this weekend's memorial service for Charlie Kirk was nominated for an Emmy after they referred to the emotional, patriotic service as "mostly hateful."
A news chyron reading "Mourners gather for mostly hateful memorial" appeared at the bottom of the screen throughout Sunday as anchors described Charlie Kirk's rhetoric as hateful, grotesque, and "really mean" while simultaneously calling every American in attendance and viewing it remotely a literal Nazi.
"After a day of messages centered around faith and forgiveness, it's striking how eerily similar the whole thing was to a Nazi rally," CNN anchor Dana Bash said while admitting she hadn't seen any of the coverage. "I would even go further and say it was 'all-the-way hateful."
During the actual event, commentary was provided by Kristen Holmes, who chimed in with out-of-context Charlie Kirk quotes every time a speaker tried to say Charlie was in Heaven, a place she doesn't even believe exists. "Whoop, JD Vance just praised Charlie Kirk again, even though he said he didn't like the Civil Rights Act, which is the same as saying you literally hate black people," she reminded viewers.
Afterward, CNN Senior Political Commentator David Axelrod bashed Kirk for being unvaccinated and speculating that the entire venue would become a super spreader event. "COVID is still a thing, right?" he said.
According to CNN, the mostly hateful event was mostly a disgrace to the entire United States and, at times, caused them to hiss uncontrollably when the gospel was preached. "I don't know what came over me," CNN Commentator Van Jones said at one point after he foamed at the mouth and his head spun counterclockwise like a top. "Hissssss!"
At publishing time, CNN reported another decline in ratings.
